Orca Lodge - Sointula

The location was stunning, with a deck right over the water offering breathtaking views of the strait. The small self-contained room had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and a surprise heated bathroom floor. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing useful information before my stay and ensuring that I had a smooth check-in process.

Although the power went out on the first evening, the owner was attentive and made sure we had candles for a memorable evening. However, the Wi-Fi was occasionally unreliable during inclement weather conditions.

Was great place to visit in Sointula.

Handy location really close to Sointula, the beach and the ocean, everything great. I loved the host who runs the place. Private bathroom, friendly atmosphere. For safety measures it had smoke detectors.

The owner gave us a warm welcome, and the place has a beautiful setting near the waterfront and beach. The room had a walk-in shower, which was nice.

It has sea views and you can use an electric kettle, a microwave oven and a laptop-compatible safe. Nice to have kitchenette to prepare some food. The place is very close to the beach, and the ocean.

The apartment on the waterfront is amazing and includes a lovely bathroom.

I had a great time staying here for two nights and really loved the amazing location by the waterfront and the ocean.

The host was always available and made our stay comfortable, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom had a roll-in shower, a hair dryer, and bath sheets.

The views from our deck were absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. It was a truly memorable experience. the apartment was extremely well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to bathroom supplies. We didn't have to worry about anything. the location was also perfect, right on the beach. We were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and even spotted some whales in the area. it was an amazing stay.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable for our liking as it was on the firmer side. We would have preferred a softer bed.

Just returned from a delightful stay at Orca Lodge. The email communication was informative and easy to follow. The bachelor suite had a large bed and fantastic views. The bathroom was spacious and all amenities were provided. We enjoyed kayaking from the property and biking to the nearby Co-op for groceries. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Even in the pouring rain, the sound on the roof was so peaceful. The owner was incredibly helpful and informative, making our stay even better.

I had the most magical stay at this accommodation. From the moment I stepped out onto the private deck, I was captivated by the breathtaking views. It felt like being at sea without the swaying. The double room I stayed in had wonderful natural light and beautiful wooden finishes. The location was perfect, halfway between the harbor and the town, with free bikes available for exploring. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and it truly felt like a great place to relax and enjoy the holiday. I even witnessed an otter visit the beach below and watched the local regatta sail past. Highly recommended. Can't wait to return!

Being situated right on the beach, we had the most amazing views of the ocean from our room. the room itself was well-equipped and had all the necessary amenities, including a heated bathroom floor which was a luxurious surprise.

The kitchen sink was on the small side, but it was still functional.
